A work of art is the result of research being done by the artist for every individual piece.

A story, a vision, a thought needs to be brought to the spectator as efficiently as possible.

Who or what inspires or influences? What technique will be used? What is the most appropriate size? Two or three dimensional? Sustainable or perishable?

The artist transforms an idea into a unique work of art with the use of colour, matter and shape.

The spectator often only gets to see the end result. Properly illuminated and hung on a white wall or nicely arranged in a public space.

Consequently, this website only gives a vague picture of reality. Was your curiosity sufficiently triggered after visiting the website? Send an email to art@johandewulf.be. You will then be invited to exhibitions and open studio days.
